Start of the Season .....

Greg's step dad Chucks mother passed away and the family was all in town for the Funeral and so we thought it was the perfect opportunity to invite the to Kaitlyn's first Softball game. It was a good night and a great start to the season...was a little chilly though!!! In the photo are Greg's sister Danielle and her fiance Tom, his step dad Chuck and sister Bonnie .. and of course us!! This season is going to be fun as we start with the girls pitching, and also an umpire so it makes it a lot more competitive!!!! GO SCREAMING EAGLES!!!

10 years and Many more to come......

Greg and I celebrated Our 10 Year Wedding Anniversary !!! I am so happy to be with such a great man, there has definatly been some rocky roads, but he is such a wonderful husband and father! We were lucky to have a sitter for the night and we were able to go out to Dinner and a Movie... We had decided that we would go to Bonefish Grill, since I knew I could find something to eat on their Menu and than we went to the movie, 21 Jumpstreet!! It was hilarious!! It was such a good night ..umm except for I have been having a terrible toothache and after dinner it was almost unbearable..so sat there uncomfortable most of the movie! Other than that though it was so nice to spend quality time together!! In the last ten years we have grown so much and I hope that the next 10 will bring us happiness and strength, as you look out in the world today so many people give up on marriage and divorce is so easy, but I have always believed that marriage is something you have to work on Everyday !!! I love you Greg each and everyday ..to many more year!!!!

I can't believe how grown up my girls are .. these are their School pictures and I am happy how they turned out but when I look at them I am so shocked at how big they are .. I officially have no babies!!!

What a year it has been for myself.. As you all know I have been sick since May and still struggle daily with being sick and trying to figure out how to have some sort of "Normal" in my life! But I am also SO Blessed!!! I have such a wonderful Family and 2 of the most Beautiful Girls! I just love them to pieces! We had so much fun as we rang in the New Year...playing games (Connect 4 Launcher is a new Favorite)...eating Meatballs, wings, chips and salsa, Shrimp and Olives! We Skyped with the Aunts and Uncles which was a lot of Fun !! Greg and I even made it to the Ball drop which hasn't happened in Years! I am so Thankful for everyone in my life and for all the Blessings in my Life.. May 2012 Bring Health and Happiness to All!!

Christmas 2011

Mommy making Christmas Eve Dinner in my cute Apron !! Greg had bought a dinner made at the store , but when I went to pick it up it was all uncooked and I still had to come home and make it all including the ham and rolls , the girls love to eat a big meal and fancy dishes.. So it was a fun night !!

I had way to many Christmas Pictures so I just gave a few of the highlights! Haylee got a Real Baby that looks like a newborn and even smells like one to, with a stroller and all the accesories. Kaitlyn got Monster High dolls which has been a huge hit. Than between the two they got wii games, ds games, and board games .. and yes there are 2 things Santa should never have purchased which are Flufflings and Doggie Doo.. so if you have a reqest for them Just say NO!!!! Christmas is such a Fun time of year and I loved seeing their Smiling Faces as the Opened all their Gifts!!! Until Next Year!!!

A Real Tree

After putting away my artificial tree last year.. I knew that I did not want to get it out again after 12 years it was looking pretty sad! So I convinced my husband that I wanted a Real Tree!!! So when I went to work on Saturday .... and I came home from work I had my Tree .. I wanted!!! The only hesitation was the next morning I saw a news story about people having found snakes in their trees so I was nervous for a few days, but no creatures ever came out!!! YaY! It was beautiful and I am so happy I dont have to put away my tree this year.. just throw it out!!!!

Christian our Elf

We started a new tradition this year and had so much fun with our Elf .. .Christian ! For any that haven't heard of The Elf on the Shelf Book, it is such a cute idea for kids. The elf comes to your house and he watches over the kids and goes to Santa every night and reports on how the kids are behaving!! During his time here.. he made snow angels, opened presents, went fishing , and enjoyed lots of our Christmas Decorations! Haylee absolutly loved Him and is going to miss him as he is away for a whole year .. she has woke up at 4 am or early to find him all month long!!!

Grandma Cindy in Virginia

A week after Liberty left .. Grandma Cindy arrived!! YAY !! We were so Excited to have her here, it has been 6 years since she has been in VA ! Again we had no big plans when she arrived and since she was here to help me get better that is what she tried to do! She arrived on Saturday Night. Sunday we got ready and we went to church , Yes she got me to go.. Mom won't drive anywhere so she suckered me in to going .. but it wasn't bad at all! Monday the girls went off to summer camp and we hung out at home ( I was starting to feel dehydrated and not so good!) She was great help though cooking and cleaning.. She made my girls Crepes for the first time which may be a weekly meal now .. we made up a list of dinners and went to the store. Tuesday I had a Dr. appt and while there they wanted me to go to the ER for fluids( which took most of the day) I had a allergic reaction to meds and didn't feel much better when I left. Wednesday had another Dr. appt and we had a colonoscopy scheduled for Friday ... Really Mom was trying to get me Better! In between all of this she cleaned my pantry , towel closet, cabinets, cooked , did laundry , oh and we were having a major Heat Wave so even if we wanted to we couldn't go outside! Thurday had to start drinking med for procedure.. which was the WORST and than went to Dr on Friday.. Not sure how much Fun mom was having but Hope she knows how Helpful she was to me .. She had to leave on Monday and I was SAD ... so was Greg he begged her to stay .. but to much was going on at home.. so She had to go!! Thank you Mom for Everything !!!! We miss you Already!!

Liberty and Tanner Come To Visit

I am so thankful for great Family!! My sister is the Best .. Since I can not seem to get any better , my sister decided that she needed to come and help me (YAY) She came here on July 2nd and was able to stay for 5 days than she had to wisk off to Utah to pick up her car(long story) I was soo happy to have her here.. We did not have much of anything planned since I can't be far from the bathroom..but we had fun anyways.. The Girls Loved having her here .. French braids, nails painted, swimming, Fireworks, played with Kate(hamster) , played the Wii..she helped me organize and clean the girls rooms and Yes they needed it BAD!!! Thank you!! She took the girls to Church , took the Girls pictures, Took our Family Pictures, wow have I mentioned she is amazing.. I also sent her home with projects to do !! We loved spending Quality time with her and Tanner and wish that they could have stayed longer !! Thanks for Everything and hope I didnt miss anything !! Love you so much and I can never Thank you Enough!!!

Girls Graduate

Another School year has come and gone!! My Girls are getting soo Big ... Kaitlyn graduated from the 3rd Grade and was on the High Honor Roll every term, Not sure who she gets her smarts from. Haylee graduated from Kindergarten and again another smart cookie .. she was in the GT program in her grade and she got the Highest honor from the Principal..So very proud of my girls and can't wait for school to start.. wait did I say that Out Loud!

Hamster Headaches

If any of you have followed my Facebook, you will know that we have had a month of headaches with Hamsters!!! We started of with 2 hamsters and within the first few days one of them got out of the cage.. we looked everywhere but could not find it .. so Daddy went and bought a new one ... once we had the new one home we found the Other ..so that makes 3!! Well we seem to have a problem with keeping them in their cages so within another few days 2 got out and unfortunatly our Nice Family Cat thought they were mice .. so we all know the outcome of that! Thats when Daddy comes to the rescue again with another new one .. so Now we are back to 2! We have another break out , but this time both are safe and we think we are all good .. when one becomes sick and passes away.. so long story short ...we have 1 now that has made it through all the drama and this Mean Mom says .... Hamsters are not for us!!!!

Mommy and Girls Weekend

So just a few pictures to recap a very fun and much needed weekend away!! I took the girls away for the weekend and we just "Chilled" .. we ate pizza , watched movies, swam in the pool , enjoyed breakfast buffets, bought munchies, jumped on the bed, wrote our Valentine cards, played store at the desk in the room, went to the mall , got new outfits, went to Build-A-Bear, ate Chinese, jumped on the bed somemore, wore jammies a lot of the time, ran down the hallways at the hotel, loved riding from the 6th floor down, drank hot chocolate(open 24hrs)not a good thing, played on the computers, gave loves, snuggled, and just had an all around Good Time!!

Build -A- Bear

Since Kaitlyn was little, and everytime that we have walked past the store at the mall .. the girls have wanted to make an animal at Build-A-Bear! Well I took this past weekend to make their dreams come true. We went away for a weekend getaway and when we woke up the next morning we got ready and went to the mall! We got to the door and Haylee could hardly control herself.. they ran in and Haylee went straight to a Pink Puppy ..picked it up and said this is what I want her name is "Rosie" I was like ok.. than a few minutes later Kaitlyn picked out the Blue Puppy , I don't know if she felt like she had to match or it was meant to be and she named it "Lilly".. we continued on the journey and got them stuffed and gave them Baths! That was the easy part and than it was time to get them dressed.. WOW!! I never knew that they had sooo much to chose and it took forever .. but we did it !!! It is Priceless to watch my girls grow up and see their expressions and chit chatting between the 2 sisters on what would match with eachother! What a Fun time.. and I am positive we will be back for more clothes, shoes, purses, glasses, oh who knows they have it ALL!

The Bread Machine

For weeks I heard Liberty say all the Yummy things she was making in her Bread Machine and I was jealous they all sounded so good! So after the holidays were over and I had some Money from my gifts I decided to purchase my own... Best Decision Ever!! I love it!!!! It is so fun and so far everything that we have tried has been so Tasty!!! First we tried a white bread, than got a little adventurous and made Cinnamon Raisin , Homemade Pizza Dough , and Dinner Rolls! I am so glad that I bought this new toy and I know that I will use it so much!!! Yummo

RollerSkating

The girls have been begging to go to the skating rink ...and when the washing machine broke on Saturday (that is laundry day).. I took them up on it and said lets Go!!! I think you always forget how fun it really is .. takes me back to my childhood at Classic Skating! It was a ton of fun and I am soo impressed with how good Kaitlyn is she never fell not even once... (she does go during summer camp) but still she is a pro! We enjoyed all the classic songs like the hokey pokey, YMCA, the limbo and even the Macarana! Of course we had to hit up the snack bar .. complete with pizza, popcorn, and soda! What a fun way to spend an Afternoon!

Happy New Year 2011

This year didn't really have much planned for New Years.. which was a good thing.. Haylee has been sick all week with a upper respitory infection (is on steriods..which is never Fun) and Greg had to work! So I told the girls that we would just have a quite night at home.. I bought them Martinellis .. (a favorite) and we played games.. Slam Scrabble , Headbands, Ants in my Pants, and Powerland! I made some yummy 7 layer Dip and Meatballs and rice! We played and ate and were all in bed by around 10 or so! Happy New Year to you all! May you all be Blessed in the New Year!

Brag Boards

I had a great Idea ..that I have seen on many blogs.. it was a Sheet Metal Board that held their kids art work from the school day ..well mine did not work out exactly like "I" wanted.. but my kids love them .. Greg called me one day and said his dad had sheet metal for free... I like free so I said yes, what I didn't know was it had to be painted cause it was scrapes.. uggghh.. and if I was to paint them it would be black or silver.. but no my hubby did them Blue.. Ok I will be fine with blue!!!! So I went with it ... I still made some adorable magnets out of stones and pictures from all different times in the girls lives.. which they love so much .. I have a handful of pics to still make.. So here we have Brag Boards !!! I love it !! I made a new rule that whatever fits can go on it .. if not it is Trash .. hope it works!!!!

Curious George

We were given tickets to go to "Curious George Live" the girls were very excited....as many of you may know Kaitlyn has always liked Monkeys and so I thought that it would be exciting for her especially! We got there and it was like any other show and they had very expensive soveniors and treats ..which of course the girls both wanted...which we kept telling them after the show... hehehe a parents trick! So they show started and all I can say is "Cheesy" for the most part I think that the girls did enjoy it , but for Greg and I we are just very Thankful that we Did Not pay for the Tickets..or buy a suvenior!!! Maybe next Show!
