Christmas 2011

The girls in their Christmas Dresses... Love Haylees.. and of course my Kaitlyn is thinking she has to look like a Teenager already !!

Mommy making Christmas Eve Dinner in my cute Apron !! Greg had bought a dinner made at the store , but when I went to pick it up it was all uncooked and I still had to come home and make it all including the ham and rolls , the girls love to eat a big meal and fancy dishes.. So it was a fun night !!

I had way to many Christmas Pictures so I just gave a few of the highlights! Haylee got a Real Baby that looks like a newborn and even smells like one to, with a stroller and all the accesories. Kaitlyn got Monster High dolls which has been a huge hit. Than between the two they got wii games, ds games, and board games .. and yes there are 2 things Santa should never have purchased which are Flufflings and Doggie Doo.. so if you have a reqest for them Just say NO!!!! Christmas is such a Fun time of year and I loved seeing their Smiling Faces as the Opened all their Gifts!!! Until Next Year!!!

A Real Tree

After putting away my artificial tree last year.. I knew that I did not want to get it out again after 12 years it was looking pretty sad! So I convinced my husband that I wanted a Real Tree!!! So when I went to work on Saturday .... and I came home from work I had my Tree .. I wanted!!! The only hesitation was the next morning I saw a news story about people having found snakes in their trees so I was nervous for a few days, but no creatures ever came out!!! YaY! It was beautiful and I am so happy I dont have to put away my tree this year.. just throw it out!!!!

Christian our Elf

We started a new tradition this year and had so much fun with our Elf .. .Christian ! For any that haven't heard of The Elf on the Shelf Book, it is such a cute idea for kids. The elf comes to your house and he watches over the kids and goes to Santa every night and reports on how the kids are behaving!! During his time here.. he made snow angels, opened presents, went fishing , and enjoyed lots of our Christmas Decorations! Haylee absolutly loved Him and is going to miss him as he is away for a whole year .. she has woke up at 4 am or early to find him all month long!!!

Christmas 2010

Christmas is such a wonderful time of year! It can be soo stressful but when the day is here we all seem to forget that and Enjoy the time with Family! This year we had Christmas Eve just our little family .. and than we had the get together with Gregs family on Christmas Day! I love seeing my girls open up all their gifts and get so excited for what they recieved! Some of the memorable gifts are.. Pillow Pets, Paper Jam Guitars, Wii Games (karoake and Drawing Pad), just to name a few there are many more that are Favorites! Thank you all for making this Christmas Memorable with the Cards, gifts, and Love that was felt throughout this time of Year! Wether we are close or far away we are all Family and Grateful for Everyone of you!

Cookie Craziness

I had a bunch of recipes I wanted to try or make again since last year.. and sooo Haylee and I got Cookie Crazy!!! We went to town making Hershey Kiss Cookies, Gingerbread, and my Favorite White Chocolate and Cranberry Cookies! We had fun making them all .. I had to take half of them to work though.. cause I knew that I would Eat them all!!! Haylee Loved that I would let her cut out the Shapes of the Gingerbread and we kept some for Santa.. which made her happy! and of course Santa .. Loved.. Them ! I love cookies and making new recipes !! Just wish I could eat them all with No.....Guilt!

Santa's Visit!

This year the girls school had a visit from Santa! It worked out perfect for us!! We showed up at the school and stood in line for 10 minutes and saw Santa!! Yippee!! So Haylee was soo excited she ran right up on his lap and said I want a Dolphin Pillow Pet.. and than there was Kaitlyn who wasnt to sure but since none of her friends were there she wasnt to cool to sit on his lap, so she did it! She asked him for DS games which was news to Mommy(lets see if that happens)! After that they had Apple Cider and Hot Chocolate .. I think we were there for 25 minutes it was Perfect!! Ho Ho Ho!!!

Christmas 2009

For every parent who thinks they do not have enough .. we are one of them this year.. We looked at everything we had a few days before christmas and said..."Wow we don't have much?" But between the two of us it seems like by Christmas we had too much .. but to see the faces of your children on Christmas Morning..... What is too Much????

Magical Christmas Dust

This was one of the girls favorite things this year. Kaitlyn recieved it from school .. it was Oatmeal with Glitter.. When I find the note that went with it I will post it .. but for now we know that it helps the reindeer find their way to our house !! It was such a treat to see them on Christmas Eve and yes they ran out of the house in Gregs Shoes!!! haha it was Fun!!!
